Antonio Conte has provided a team news update to journalists who have attended Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-Sporting press conference from Lisbon this evening.
Tottenham trained at Hotspur Way this morning before boarding their flight to Lisbon for their second match of Group B.
Conte’s side kicked off their Champions League campaign with a 2-0 win over Marseille in north London last week.
Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of the clash against the Portuguese who come into the match on the back of a 4-0 win at the weekend against Portimonense which lifted them up to seventh place in the Premeira table.
Spurs were not in action last weekend after the Premier League postponed all fixtures in the wake of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
Antonio Conte revealed that Lucas Moura was the only absentee through injury, and that the Brazilian would likely be available after the international break.
He said (Football London): “Only Lucas Moura is still out. His recovery is going well but I think we’ll see him after the international break. The others are all available.”
