Antonio Conte has provided a team news update to journalists who have been part of Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-Crystal Palace press conference from Hotspur Way this morning.
Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of the match in North London on Boxing Day where they will be looking to avenge their defeat at Selhurst Park early on in the campaign.
Journalists are continuing to dial into the press conference via the Zoom web conferencing platform following the recent Covid-19 outbreak at the club’s training ground which halted the brief return of those who were permitted back into the building to pose their questions to the Italian in person.
Conte has revealed that there have been no new injuries or Covid cases since the 2-1 win over West Ham, although the players had the day off yesterday and have not trained yet today.
Ryan Sessegnon (muscular issue) and Cristian Romero (hamstring) are both still sidelined and will not be available for selection.
