Antonio Conte has provided a team news update to journalists who have attended Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-Fulham press conference from Hotspur Way this afternoon.
Spurs head back to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tomorrow looking to return to winning ways after being held to a 1-1 draw at West Ham United on Wednesday evening.
Fulham have enjoyed a respectable start to their first campaign back in the top flight with their midweek victory over Brighton lifting them up to the lofty heights of eighth in the Premier League table.
Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of the clash against Marco Silva’s side.
Tottenham were without Cristian Romero, Rodrigo Bentancur, Lucas Moura and Bryan Gil for the trip to the London Stadium. However, Conte has now revealed that Romero is back in the squad, while Bentancur is also ‘okay’ again.
Unfortunately, the Italian’s forward options remain limited as Lucas Moura and Bryan Gil are not available against Fulham.
He said (Rob Guest): “Team news…Cuti Romero is in the squad. Training session with us after game against West Ham. In the squad, Lucas Moura and Gil still not available for game against Fulham. Bentancur is ok.”
