Team News: Four missing for visit of Wolves, one returns to training along with Harry Kane update

Tottenham Hotspur have delivered a team news update to journalists in attendance at Jose Mourinho’s pre-Wolverhampton Wanderers press conference at Hotspur Way this afternoon.

Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Mourinho answering questions prior to the visit of Nuno Espirito Santo’s side to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The journalists who made the trip to the Spurs training ground today were asked in advance of their visit to complete a Coronavirus questionnaire about their possible exposure to affected countries/people (Alasdair Gold).

Spurs currently sit in sixth place in the Premier League table after failing to overtake Chelsea in fourth place last weekend following the defeat at Stamford Bridge.

Eighth-place Wolves are just a single point behind Jose Mourinho’s side in what is a closely contested race for European qualification.

The club have confirmed that Harry Kane has commenced on-field rehabilitation after his hamstring surgery.

Ryan Sessegnon will miss the match against Wolves with a hip injury while Juan Foyth is once again available.

Moussa Sissoko is continuing his on-field rehab while Heung-min Son is recovering from arm surgery.

Football journalist Alasdair Gold, who was in attendance confirmed the update on Twitter.
