Team News: Four Spurs players ruled out of Manchester United clash

A team news update has been provided to journalists attending this afternoon’s press conference ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho will return to Old Trafford looking to make it four wins out of four since taking over in North London whilst having the satisfaction of getting one over his former employer.

The Portuguese was dismissed from his role last December and was succeeded by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who now finds himself under intense pressure from the sack (The Sun).

As expected, Hugo Lloris remains unavailable due to his elbow injury while fellow goalkeeper Michel Vorm is still recovering from a recent calf problem sustained in training.

Ben Davies suffered ankle ligament damage in the 3-2 win at West Ham United while Erik Lamela is still not ready to return following his hamstring issue.

All four are said to be continuing their respective rehabilitation.

Spurs will be looking to continue to pile the pressure on fourth-place Chelsea, who currently enjoy a six-point advantage over their London rivals.
