Ryan Mason has provided a team news update to journalists who have dialled into Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-Sheffield United press conference from Hotspur Way this afternoon.
Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Mason answering questions prior to the visit of the Blades to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.
Pre-match press conferences continue to take place on the Zoom video conferencing platform after the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown restrictions meaning that journalists can no longer attend Hotspur Way in person.
Tottenham head into the match on the back of the disappointing Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City and will be expecting to pick up all three points against United who are already relegated.
Jonathan Veal reported that Ben Davies will be the only injury absentee heading into the Premier League match against Sheffield United, meaning that everyone made it out of the Carabao Cup defeat unscathed.
