Team News: Mourinho expects two Spurs players to return against Leeds

Jose Mourinho has revealed that he expects to have both Carlos Vinicius and Lucas Moura back available for the game against Leeds United this weekend (Charlie Eccleshare).

Both Brazilian attackers missed the last Premier League match against Wolves and Mourinho revealed last week that they were also set to miss the London derby against Fulham.

Of course, the Fulham game was eventually postponed, meaning that the missing duo were only unavailable for the one Premier League game.

However, Mourinho will be glad to have some extra attacking options at his disposal against Leeds, with Spurs relying heavily on Harry Kane and Heung-min Son for goals this season.

Spurs currently only have two senior strikers at the club, meaning that any Vinicius absence requires Kane to play a hefty number of minutes.

The Tottenham forward has already played over 1,750 minutes so far this season, scoring 16 times and assisting another 13 (TransferMarkt).

The Lilywhites take on Leeds United tomorrow afternoon at 12:30 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
