Jose Mourinho has provided a team news update to journalists who have dialled into Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-Liverpool press conference from Hotspur Way this afternoon.
Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Mourinho answering questions prior to the visit of their the Premier League champions to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tomorrow evening.
Pre-match press conferences continue to take place on the Zoom video conferencing platform after the coronavirus pandemic means that journalists can no longer attend Hotspur Way in person.
Liverpool head into the match having failed to win any of their last five Premier League fixtures and a Spurs win this evening would see the North Londoners overtake Jurgen Klopp’s side in the table.
The Spurs boss admitted that Dele Alli will miss the fixture due to injury and also hinted that his side have more injury problems but did not go into any detail on which other players could be sidelined.
