Ange Postecoglou has today been speaking to the media ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s Europa League match against AZ Alkmaar.

Alkmaar head into the match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium having won one and lost the other of their opening two Europa League fixtures, while also suffering a 2-1 defeat at home to PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie on Saturday.
Tottenham were boosted by the return of captain Heung-min Son following injury in Saturday’s 4-1 victory over West Ham United, a match which also saw Richarlison make his first appearance since late August.
Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou also has vice-captain Cristian Romero to call upon if needed after the Argentine sat out the curtain raiser against Qarabag, however, did return for the 2-1 win at Ferencvaros.
With a tough trip to Galatasaray coming up next for Spurs, followed by matches against Roma and Rangers, it will be crucial they take all three points against the Dutch opponents under the lights in N17.

It was revealed earlier today that both Heung-min Son and Djed Spence were missing from training, but Wilson Odobert had made his return (Rob Guest).
Postecoglou told the press about Son’s absence from training today (FootballLondon): “Sonny was a bit sore after the weekend, he was never going to be involved tomorrow. Djed trained individually today.”
Following the match under the lights in N17, Tottenham will make the short trip south to take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday.
