Team News: Postecoglou provides updates on Son, Bissouma and Lo Celso

Ange Postecoglou has provided a team news update ahead of tomorrow’s match against Brighton and Hove Albion during this afternoon’s press conference at Hotspur Way.

Spurs return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the back of last weekend’s disappointing late 2-2 draw at Everton and are now looking to return to winning ways to keep in contention for a top-four finish.

Conceding in injury time at Goodison Park saw Tottenham pass up the opportunity to move back above Aston Villa into fourth ahead of the clash between the two sides at Villa Park later this month.

The Seagulls head into the Premier League fixture on the back of a convincing 4-1 win over rivals Crystal Palace last time out.

Postecoglou confirmed in a chat with the Tottenham media team that Lo Celso has been back training this week, but Manor Solomon has required a further procedure on his knee, meaning his return is postponed for now. Ryan Sessegnon is still continuing his rehab at Hotspur Way.

The Spurs boss also revealed that Bissouma and Son both trained today and are looking good after their early AFCON and Asian Cup exits.
