Ryan Mason has provided a team news update to journalists who have dialled into Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-Wolverhampton Wanderers press conference from Hotspur Way this afternoon.
Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Premier League fixture with Mason answering questions prior to the visit of Nuno Espírito Santo’s side to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Spurs are looking to bounce back from last weekend’s disappointing 3-1 defeat at Leeds United which dealt a fatal blow to their hopes of gatecrashing the top four, especially with Liverpool taking all three points against Manchester United last night.
Wolves have also had a difficult season but come into the fixture having won three of their last five top flight matches.
Mason revealed that left-back Ben Davies remains unavailable due to the calf injury he picked up in the win against Aston Villa at the end of March and is likely to miss the rest of the season while it is uncertain at this stage if he will be able to represent Wales at the Euros.
Ryan Mason says Ben Davies is likely to miss the final three games of the season with an ankle injury. He is back training individually but Mason says it’s ‘too early to make a decision on the Euros” #THFC
