Ryan Mason has provided a team news update to journalists who have dialled into Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-Leeds United press conference from Hotspur Way this morning.
Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Mason answering questions prior to the trip to Elland Road in tomorrow’s early Premier League kick-off.
Pre-match press conferences continue to take place on the Zoom video conferencing platform after the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown restrictions meaning that journalists can no longer attend Hotspur Way in person.
Tottenham have to take all three points from the match against Marcelo Bielsa’s side if they are to keep their slim hopes alive of gatecrashing the top four and securing a return to the Champions League next season.
In an unusually early press conference, Mason revealed that Ben Davies is still sidelined with the injury sustained against Aston Villa in March.
