Team News: Six missing for Spurs ahead of RB Leipzig second leg

Tottenham Hotspur have provided a team news update to journalists in attendance at Jose Mourinho’s pre-RB Leipzig press conference at the Red Bull Arena this evening.

Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Mourinho answering questions prior to the visit of tomorrow night’s Champions League round of 16 second leg tie.

The North Londoners will be looking to overturn a 1-0 scoreline from the first leg if they wish to keep their European hopes alive for another season; with the club currently trailing fourth-place Chelsea by seven points, a fifth successive campaign in the competition is looking to be in doubt.

As expected, Harry Kane (hamstring), Heung-min Son (arm) and Moussa Sissoko (knee) all miss out with the pair continuing their rehabilitation while Juan Foyth has a hip issue.

Left-back Ben Davies is once again absent after he missed Saturday’s draw at Burnley.

Steven Bergwijn played the full 90 minutes at Turf Moor but picked up an ankle problem during the match which saw him miss training earlier this morning.
