Team News: Spurs midfielder to miss Arsenal clash through injury

Tottenham Hotspur have provided a team news update to journalists who have dialled into Jose Mourinho’s pre-Arsenal press conference from Hotspur Way this afternoon.

Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Mourinho answering questions prior to the visit of their North London rivals to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

This is the fourth pre-match press conference to take place on the Zoom video conferencing after the coronavirus pandemic means that journalists can no longer attend Hotspur Way in person.

Fans will certainly be looking for a significant improvement from the dire performance during the 0-0 draw at relegation battlers Bournemouth on Thursday evening.

Spurs are once again without the services of central defender Eric Dier, who serves the second match of his four match suspension.

It has also been confirmed that Dele Alli will once again be unavailable as a result of his recent hamstring problem. PA Sport journalist Jonathan Veal, confirmed the news following the press conference.
