Team News: Spurs without four players for trip to Chelsea

Tottenham Hotspur have provided a team news update to journalists in attendance at Jose Mourinho’s pre-Chelsea press conference at Hotspur Way this afternoon.

Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Mourinho answering questions prior to the visit to Stamford Bridge tomorrow lunchtime.

It will be the first time in which the Portuguese has returned to Chelsea in Spurs colours and will be looking to avenge the 2-0 defeat in North London prior to Christmas.

A win for Tottenham would lift them above their London rivals into fourth place in the Premier League table and give them a two-point advantage.

However, as expected the club have confirmed that Harry Kane (hamstring), Juan Foyth (groin) Moussa Sissoko (knee) and Heung-min Son (arm) are all once again ruled out of action.

There are no fresh injury concerns following Wednesday night’s Champions League loss to RB Leipzig which is one shred of consolation for Mourinho.

Alasdair Gold, who was in attendance at the press conference took to Twitter to confirm the injury update.
