Team News: Tanguy Ndombele leads the list of absentees for Newcastle visit

Tottenham Hotspur have provided a team news update ahead of Sunday’s Premier League match against Newcastle United which was circulated to reporters ahead of today’s press conference.

Mauricio Pochettino is boosted by the return of Heung-min Son after the South Korean has completed a three match suspension following the red card he received during the defeat at Bournemouth towards the end of last season.

Juan Foyth, who was also dismissed in the same match has also served his ban but is still sidelined with the ankle problem he picked up in the Audi Cup final win against Bayern Munich in pre-season.

Dele Alli has returned to first team training but Spurs will be once again without Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring).

The biggest news is that club record signing Tanguy Ndombele misses out after suffering a minor thigh injury during training.

Tottenham will be looking to continue their unbeaten start to the new season while Steve Bruce is still in search of his first point after taking over the managerial reigns at the Magpies.
