Tottenham Hotspur have provided a team news update to journalists in attendance at Jose Mourinho’s pre-Chelsea press conference at Hotspur Way this afternoon.
Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Mourinho answering questions prior to the visit of his former side to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.
A win for Tottenham would lift them above their London rivals into fourth place in the Premier League table on goal difference with both teams level on 29 points.
As expected, club captain Hugo Lloris is still ruled out with the elbow injury he suffered at Brighton while Ben Davies has been in Qatar as part of his rehabilitation after sustaining ankle ligament damage against West Ham United.
Erik Lamela is still missing with a hamstring issue.
Tanguy Ndombele has returned to training following his groin injury, along with Michel Vorm who has recovered from a calf problem he sustained whilst training.
Spurs injury news: Tanguy Ndombele (groin) & Michel Vorm (calf) are back in training with the squad. Ben Davies (ankle), Erik Lamela (hamstring) & Hugo Lloris (elbow) are continuing rehabilitation.
