Tottenham Hotspur have provided a team news update to journalists in attendance at Jose Mourinho’s pre-Manchester City press conference at Hotspur Way this afternoon.
Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Mourinho answering questions prior to the visit of the Premier League champions to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.
Given the fact that it is transfer deadline day, it will be expected that many questions posed by the press pack will be focused around potential incomings and outgoings in North London.
Spurs go into this weekend trailing fourth-place Chelsea by six points, which could increase to nine by the time they take to the field against City with Frank Lampard’s side in action at Leicester City tomorrow lunchtime.
It has been confirmed that Harry Kane (hamstring), Moussa Sissoko (knee) and Ben Davies (ankle) all remain out and are undergoing rehabilitation.
