Antonio Conte has provided a team news update to journalists who have been part of Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-Southampton press conference from Hotspur Way this morning.
Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of the match in North London tomorrow evening where they will be looking to close the gap on the top four.
Journalists are continuing to dial into the press conference via the Zoom web conferencing platform following the recent Covid-19 outbreak at the club’s training ground in November which halted the brief return of those who were permitted back into the building to pose their questions to the Italian in person.
Conte has revealed that Eric Dier, Japhet Tanganga and Oliver Skipp all remain out injured for the clash against Southampton tomorrow night. All three also missed the FA Cup match against Brighton at the weekend.
However, the Spurs boss added that there were no fresh injury concerns to speak of heading into a busy Premier League period.
He said (Football London): “No news. Eric Dier is not available and it’s the same for Skipp and Tanganga. The others are all available.”
