Team News: Tottenham without one player for Leicester City match

Antonio Conte has provided a team news update to journalists who have attended Tottenham’s pre-Leicester City press conference from Hotspur Way this afternoon.

Tottenham return to Premier League action on Saturday evening against the Foxes on the back of their disappointing trip to Portugal on Tuesday.

The north Londoners suffered a late 2-0 defeat at the hands of Sporting which marked their first loss in all competitions of the season and four defeats in their last five Champions League games.

Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of the clash against Brendan Rodgers’ side, who are rooted to the bottom of the table with just one point to show from their opening six fixtures.

Spurs have not been in Premier League action since September 3, when they beat Fulham 2-1 after last weekend’s round of matches were postponed in the wake of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

Conte revealed that Tottenham continue to be without Lucas Moura this weekend, but he is the only absentee for the Lilywhites (Charlie Eccleshare).
