Nuno Espirito Santo has provided a team news update to journalists who have dialled into Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-Wolverhampton Wanderers press conference from Hotspur Way this afternoon.
Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Nuno answering questions prior to the Carabao Cup third round tie at Molineux tomorrow night.
Pre-match press conferences continue to take place on the Zoom video conferencing platform with journalists still not able to attend Hotspur Way in person in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
It will be the second time in a matter of weeks that Nuno has faced his former side, having picked up all three points during a 1-0 Premier League win in the Black Country last month courtesy of a Dele Alli penalty.
Last season, Tottenham made it all the way to the final of the competition before losing to Manchester City in the Wembley showpiece.
Nuno has confirmed that Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn will both still be sidelined for the cup tie.
Nuno's just finished his press conference. Re #THFC team news: Moura and Bergwijn still out.
He adds that: Bergwijn has a sprain on his foot and twisted his ankle. So protective boot is so he can still do upper body work. Not sure if he'll be back for NLD.
