Tennis star Emma Raducanu admits she ‘resonates’ with one Spurs star

US Open winner and tennis star Emma Raducanu has revealed that she is a big fan of Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min.

Raducanu was seen training with a Tottenham top earlier this year and she admitted back in April that she is developing an affinity for the North London club as her whole team are Spurs fans (Daily Mirror).

The tennis sensation has now spoken about her fondness for Son, who opened his account for the season by netting a 13-minute hat-hat-trick against Leicester City on Saturday.

Son had been in poor form leading up to the game over the weekend, with Antonio Conte deciding to leave the South Korean on the bench for the clash against the Foxes.

The Spurs boss introduced the forward just before the hour mark, and the 30-year-old certainly proved a point to the Italian by scoring three in quick succession, including two spectacular finishes into the top corner with either foot.

Raducanu would have certainly been pleased to see the Spurs star coming back into form, with the tennis star admitting that she resonates with the forward.

She told Tennis 365 about Son: “I really resonate with him, and I think that what he’s doing for sport and football in Asia and in Korea especially is massive. I think that there are going to be a lot more future athletes coming from this side of the world.”

Spurs Web Opinion

It is very difficult to find anyone who has a bad thing to say about Son. The Tottenham man seems to be universally liked, which is probably due to his humility and the happiness with which he plays, which is very rare in top-level sport these days.
