Erik Lamela scored the only goal as Tottenham Hotspur beat West Ham United 1-0 at the London Stadium to extend their winning run in the Premier League to four matches.

The victory moved Spurs up to third in the table alongside Chelsea who scraped a draw with Manchester United in the early kick off.

Erik Lamela scored the only goal of a tight derby, with Tottenham being forced to hang on for grim death at the end of the game to grab all three points.

Lamela’s goal came from a glancing header into the far corner after being picked out by a cross from Moussa Sissoko just a couple of minutes before the half time break.
