‘That was a very tough watch’ – Some fans react to Spurs’ first half vs Crystal Palace

Some fans have taken to social media to share their reaction to Tottenham Hotspur’s first-half performance against Crystal Palace.

The lunchtime kick-off has been the first piece of Premier League action since the international break and the opening half hour was a cagey affair with both sides having lacked a creative spark with the score still at 0-0 heading into the break.

Having pressed quite well for the first 10-15 mins or so, Spurs have since sat back and allowed Palace to have the ball.

The midfield trio of Hojbjerg, Winks and Skipp have lacked the freedom to get forward and try and make a difference in the final third of the pitch.

Tottenham’s injury woes continued in the first half when Eric Dier was forced off and looked to be in some discomfort when he hobbled to the dressing room with the help of one of the medical team and was replaced by Joe Rodon.

Palace finished the half as the better of the two teams, with Tottenham looking lethargic and leggy.

Here is what some of the Spurs faithful have had to say.
