“That’s all we wanted to hear from the beginning” – Some fans react to Kane’s update

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting on Twitter after Harry Kane confirmed that he will be staying at the club this summer.

Kane took to social media earlier this afternoon to reveal that he will still be a Tottenham player come the end of the summer transfer window.

The 28-year-old has been a target for Manchester City all summer, came off the bench in Sunday’s 1-0 win against Wolves at Molineux in the Premier League in what was his first appearance since returning late for pre-season.

Daniel Levy is said to have refused to enter negotiations with the Premier League champions in their efforts to take Kane to the Etihad this summer (BBC).

Kane could now be set to make his first start of the new campaign in tomorrow night’s Europa Conference League second leg against Pacos de Ferreira.
