Tottenham Hotspur’s match against Burnley this afternoon has now officially been postponed due to heavy snowfall at Turf Moor.
The ground staff worked tirelessly in an attempt to clear the blanket of snow, but to no avail, as the match was called off just 50 minutes before it was due to start.
In fact, both Tottenham and Burnley even announced their starting XI before telling fans the match would no longer go ahead.
Some Spurs fans would have made a four-hour trip to be at Turf Moor, now faced with another four-hour journey home without having seen any football.
There is currently no news on when the rescheduled fixture will be played, but it appears we will not be seeing Tottenham Hotspur in action this weekend, unfortunately.
Some Spurs fans took to Twitter to voice their frustration at the decision to call the match off, especially when some had travelled so far to support the Lilywhites.
