The 13 Tottenham players who will remain at Hotspur Way during the international break

With the final International break of the season in full swing, a handful of Tottenham Hotspur players have not travelled to represent their national teams – let’s take a look at the Spurs stars who remain at Hotspur Way.

A whopping 17 Tottenham Hotspur players have jetted off to represent their respective national teams during the international break.

But while some Spurs stars are gearing up for crucial matches with their countries, a handful remain at Hotspur Way, set for two weeks of training before club football resumes.

For some, injuries have kept them from linking up with their national squads. Others, however, like James Maddison and Djed Spence with England, have been left out altogether.

The Tottenham Hotspur players not on international duty

Of course, several first-team players are set to remain at Hotspur Way over the break. Here’s the full list of those not involved in international action:

Why some Spurs players missed out on national call-up’s

Injuries to key players like Dejan Kulusevski (foot), Micky van de Ven(still recovering), Radu Dragusin (ACL), Kevin Danso (Hamstring), and Richarlison (calf) mean they’ve missed out on international duty.

The extra time at the Tottenham training ground could allow the injured players to continue their recovery without the risk of aggravating any issues on international duty.

Meanwhile, Djed Spence, James Maddison and Timo Werner have simply not been selected. Their national team managers have opted for other players.

After the two-week International break, Tottenham Hotspur are set to return back to action on April 3rd for a Premier League clash against Chelsea.
