Report reveals two managers who are now front-runners for Spurs job

The Athletic have revealed that Eric Ten Hag and Ralf Rangnick are currently the front-runners for the vacant Tottenham job.

With the season now over, reports indicate that Spurs are planning to accelerate the process, with a new appointment potentially on the cards over the next week to 10 days.

If The Athletic are to be believed, Ten Hag and Rangnick are now the front-runners for the role.

Ten Hag was linked heavily with the Spurs job in the days immediately after Jose Mourinho’s sacking but it looked as though Tottenham’s pursuit of the Dutchman was over when he penned a new contract with Ajax.

Fabrizio Romano even claimed at the time that Spurs had a meeting with Ten Hag and decided to move on to other candidates.

The Athletic have now asserted that the Ajax boss continues to be one of the front-runners for the job, along with Rangnick, who has not managed since being promoted to Head of Sport and Development for Red Bull GmbH in 2019.

However, The report adds that Tottenham are still making their minds up regarding the appointment.
