Fabrizio Romano has revealed in his latest YouTube video update this afternoon that Tottenham Hotspur’s well-documented move for Pedro Porro is still on.
Porro was said to have been left ‘distraught’ after Sporting Lisbon adjusted the terms of their proposed sale at the last minute despite Spurs having agreed to meet the Spanish international’s full asking price (Evening Standard).
The right wing-back was scheduled to have undergone his medical at Hotspur Way today before sealing his switch but as things stand, Porro has not made the trip to the club’s training ground.
Romano has insisted that discussions are still taking place between the two clubs to find a solution to try to salvage the move with Porro keen to make the switch to north London.
Most importantly, he revealed (1:45) that the deal to bring Porro to the Premier League outfit is still on and the next few hours could prove to be crucial in the outcome of the talks.

Tottenham fans will be glad to see the transfer window close following the circus surrounding the Pedro Porro deal, one thing is for sure, the fans will not be impressed if they end the window with only Arnaut Danjuma as the sole loan signing.
