Some Spurs fans on social media could not hold back their excitement upon seeing the first pictures of Gareth Bale training at Hotspur Way this week.
The Welshman is not expected to be fit until after the international break and has not been called up for Wales’ international triple header next week.
He will continue to train with the fitness and coaching staff at Spurs as the majority of the first-team squad jet off on international duty after Tottenham’s game against Manchester United on Sunday.
The 31-year-old was seen cheering on from the stands at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against Newcastle, Chelsea, and Maccabi Haifa over the past seven days.
Fans will be hoping that they are not made to wait too long before they see Bale take to the pitch once more and it looks as though the man himself is certainly working hard to come back as soon as possible.
