Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Sevilla still have to clarify some final details before Alejo Veliz seals a loan move to the club.
Veliz has impressed in the limited opportunities that he has got at Tottenham since joining the club from Rosaria Central last summer and the striker now appears to be edging closer to a loan switch to Sevilla.
It was The Athletic’s David Ornstein who first reported on Wednesday night that the La Liga club had expressed an interest in the striker, leaving Tottenham with just 24 hours to make up their mind.
It now looks like Spurs have struck an agreement with the Spanish side, with Dan Kilpatrick revealing on The Standard’s live transfer blog earlier today that the Argentine was on his way to Spain to complete a medical ahead of his loan switch.
The journalist explained that Tottenham were given assurances that the striker would get regular game time at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium.
Final details to be agreed on Veliz to Sevilla
Romano has now also taken to social media to confirm that Spurs have given the green light for Veliz to complete a loan move to Sevilla.
However, he pointed out that the Andalusian club now have to sort out a few final details before making the loan move official.
