Pedro Porro has reflected on Tottenham’s fight to stay in the Premier League and has reacted to the speculation over his future at the North London club.
There was a feeling of relief among the Spurs fan base when West Ham were beaten by Arsenal last Sunday, but the feeling has changed after Tottenham failed to take advantage against Leeds and were held to a draw.
With only two points separating the two London clubs, there is still plenty of room for one major twist.

Pedro Porro admits Tottenham need to fight until the very end for survival
Roberto De Zerbi saw plenty of positives in his side’s performance against Leeds, and reminded his players that their situation is still much better than it was a couple of weeks ago.
Porro has now admitted that he and his teammates will have to fight until the very last minute of the season, conceding that anything can happen.
The Tottenham star told Cadena SER (as relayed by Sport Witness): “On the one hand, we want the season to end, but on the other, we have to work until the very end. There’s no other option.
“We have to finish in the best way possible. It’s true that right now we’re two points above them and they play before us. Now anything goes. We have to consider everything. That’s the reality and everything counts.”
Porro speaks on his World Cup ambition and Spurs future
The 26-year-old has been a regular for the Spanish national team in the lead-up to the World Cup, and he looks likely to be included in Luis de la Fuente’s 26-man squad for the tournament.
When asked about his World Cup hopes, Porro said: “Hopefully, that would be two pieces of good news (Tottenham’s survival and World Cup inclusion).
The right-back has also been linked with a move away from Spurs this summer, but Porro made it clear that his focus is on the here and now.
When asked about the transfer speculation, the Spaniard responded: “I already have enough on my plate without thinking about that now. The future is next week.”
