Kane was given a rest by Mauricio Pochettino for the trip to Leicester City on Saturday evening by deciding to name his key hitman on the bench.
The forward has netted nine times in the Premier League this season, but was given a run out for the last 16 minutes at the King Power as Mauricio Pochettino has one eye on Tuesday night’s crunch clash at Barcelona in the Champions League.
Tottenham must match Inter Milan’s result at home to PSV Eindhoven, failute to do so will see Kane and co drop down into the Europa League.
