Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Arne Slot’s representatives will meet with the Feyenoord hierarchy over the coming hours to discuss the conditions for a potential exit.
If reports over recent days are to be believed Slot appears to be edging closer to a move to Tottenham.
Football Insider claimed on Monday that there is willingness from both Tottenham and the Dutchman’s camp to get a deal concluded quickly.
The publication suggested that if the negotiations continue to advance at its current place, Spurs could confirm Slot as their head coach by the end of this week.
Meanwhile, The Daily Mail revealed on Monday that the 44-year-old’s agent Rafaela Pimenta is set to negotiate a potential exit with the Eredivisie champions this week.
The journalist added that Feyenoord are expected to demand compensation of more than £10m from the North London club for their head coach.
Fabrizio Romano has now taken to social media to reveal that Slot’s representatives are expected to discuss the compensation fee with the Dutch outfit over the next few hours.
Interestingly, the journalist added that while the Feyenoord coach remains the frontrunner for the Tottenham job, other candidates also remain their shortlist to succeed Antonio Conte.

Spurs Web Opinion
I would expect the deal to accelerate once there is clarity on the compensation that Feyenoord expect for Arne Slot.
I hope Tottenham hierarchy do not haggle on the fee and drag out the negotiations for another week or two as we need to appoint a new head coach quickly so that we can start finalising our plans for the summer transfer window.
