The nine games that Giovani Lo Celso looks set to miss through injury

Tottenham Hotspur announced today that Giovani Lo Celso is out injured and will likely be sidelined until late October.

This comes after Lo Celso was subbed off early against Chile for Argentina this week after he picked up a knock on his hip.

Lo Celso has now returned early from the international break to undergo treatment and rehabilitation at Hotspur Way.

The Argentine had just started to edge his way into Pochettino’s plans too, earning appearances in the last three Premier League matches.

Lo Celso came on against Man City, Newcastle, and Arsenal in the past month, with his first start surely not a million miles away. However, it looks as if he will have to wait some time for that first nod now.

Let’s take a look at some of the games Lo Celso is now likely to miss through injury –

• Crystal Palace (H)
• Olympiakos (A)
• Colchester (A)
• Leicester (A)
• So’ton (H)
• Brighton (A)
• Watford (H)
• Crevna Zvedza (H)
• Liverpool (A)
