The one player I would be furious if Tottenham signed this summer

Tottenham Hotspur had a fantastic season last time out, finishing in the top four in the Premier League and reaching the final of the Champions League.

However, there are still positions I would like to see Pochettino and Levy strengthen in the summer in order to really push for trophies next season.

I would pick out right-back, central midfield, and striker as three positions that should be invested heavily in this transfer window.

However, after Hugo Lloris’ return to form towards the end of the season, and with him captaining Tottenham to their first CL Final, I did not expect to see Spurs linked with keepers this summer.

However, Corriere della Serra have reported that Tottenham are interested in Lazio shot-stopper Thomas Strakosha.

Calcio Mercato have added that Lazio value the player at a whopping £44.56m this summer, which confuses me even further.

Why would Spurs invest £45m in a new goalkeeper when they have a World Cup winner and the promising Paulo Gazzaniga on the bench?

I would be furious if Tottenham spent some of their budget on such a position.
