The punishment Spurs squad faced after Antwerp defeat – Revealed by Mourinho

Jose Mourinho took to Instagram after Tottenham’s defeat against Royal Antwerp yesterday to reveal that the players will have to report for training at 11 am this morning.

Mourinho’s men do not have much time to dwell on Thursday’s result as they only have three days off before they are back in Premier League action against Brighton on Sunday.

However, it looks as though the Tottenham boss will not be giving his players today off to rest and recover after their lacklustre performance in Belgium yesterday.

The Lilywhites failed to create too many clear cut openings throughout the ninety minutes and the home side could have easily made the scoreline much more handsome had they taken their chances in the second half.

Mourinho did not hold back on his criticism after the game, insisting to the press that they now know why he does not select some of the players (Football.London).

The Portuguese coach took to Instagram to post a picture of him looking upset in the team bus with the caption: “Bad performances deserve bad results. Hope everyone in this bus is as upset as I am. Tomorrow 11 AM training.”
