Tottenham Hotspur only have one Premier League game between now and their crucial home leg against Ajax in the semi-final of the Champions League.
Perhaps it is not the best time to be facing West Ham in a London derby that usually brings tough tackles and the risk of injury in a heated rivalry.
Ajax have also played their last fixture before the semi, as the Dutch League have cancelled an entire game week to ensure their representative is fresh and ready; no such luck from the Premier League (talkSPORT).
Tottenham will be desperate to both survive the West Ham encounter injury free, and get back a couple of key players to bolster their squad for next Tuesday.
According to Physio Room’s Injury Table, Spurs currently have five out injured:
Harry Kane is obviously a long term absentee with his ankle ligament injury.
Serge Aurier is also listed as unavailable due to his hamstring injury, and Moussa Sissoko will likely be out with a groin strain.
Harry Winks is a major doubt to face West Ham, but there is more hope he could feature in some way and make it back for the Ajax match.
Erik Lamela is similarly a doubt for the West Ham encounter, but not necessarily that far from a return.
Heung Min Son is also ruled out for the Ajax match as he picked up one too many yellow cards in the competition with his booking against Man City.
