The three Spurs players who could miss the semi-final first leg if they are booked tonight

Tottenham Hotspur take on Manchester City tonight in the Champions League as they bid to qualify for their first ever semi final in the competition.

Spurs have reached the quarter finals once before back in 2011 under Harry Redknapp, but their European run ended in a defeat at the hands of Real Madrid.

Tottenham take a slender 1-0 advantage into the second leg at the Etihad tonight, with the opportunity to grab an away goal that could make all the difference.

If Spurs were to qualify past Man City, they would face Ajax in the semi finals of the competition.

Past the semis, yellow cards and bans are wiped out to ensure that players do not miss the final through this kind of suspension.

However, three Tottenham players must be careful not to see yellow against Man City, as they will be in danger of missing the first leg of the semi final if they make it there.

Heung Min Son, Toby Alderweireld, and Erik Lamela are all one booking away from a ban.
