Having had a disappointing start to the season, fans are looking at what the team need to do in order to improve.

A worrying problem is the situation at RB with KWP not fully convincing fans, Foyth being injured, Aurier not making any appearances, and Sanchez putting in a disappointing performance in the North London Derby.

Here are 5 potential players we could move for that could take the team to the next level:

Alessandro Florenzi – At 28 years old, he would be a player in his peak and one that KWP and Foyth could learn from. He is an Italian international and his crossing ability is ideal for an attacking full-back.

Thomas Meunier – Another Belgian defender would never be a bad thing! The 27-year-old is not always a guaranteed starter at PSG and may welcome the chance for more first-team football at WHL. Surely, he would form an instant relationship with Toby and Jan.

Elseid Hysaj – The Albanian defender is versatile and can also play at left-back, something that Pochettino likes players to be. An important player for his national team, he may want to try the Premier League.

Ricardo Pereira – Buying from another Premier League team is always costly but Pereira has settled really well into the English game. He is only 25 so would be about to approach his peak and has played every game this season for Leicester.

Sime Vrsaljko – The Croatian played against Spurs in the Champions League last season and was very impressive. His loan has finished at Inter Milan and he is back at Athletico Madrid and he may be surplus to requirements as they have Trippier who has played each game this season.

All these signings would cost serious money that Levy would be unlikely to spend but since Aurier is not getting any minutes then using him in any transfer would be the best way forward!
