The worrying Son stats that imply he is worse playing with Kane

Tottenham Hotspur were absolutely flying in the Premier League and Champions League through January and February, strangely as two of their best players, Kane and Alli, were out injured.

Heung Min Son was one of the main players who stepped up in their absence to lead the team with his speed, goals, and sheer work rate.

He scored four goals in four games up until Kane’s return in late February, and was even mentioned as a possible player of the season.

However, since Kane’s comeback, Son has been a shadow of his former self, as is now without a goal in his last six games.

The South Korean was not used from the start against Liverpool at the weekend, but did come on for 25 minutes at the end.

In this time, he only managed to touch the ball six times, and made no real impact on the match.

Why can’t Kane and Son seem to shine together at the moment?
