Tottenham succumbed to their third straight defeat this evening, the first time they have ever done so under Mauricio Pochettino.
Despite a largely impressive performance, an 85th minute wonder strike from Mario Icardi, and a 92nd minute Vercino header stole the three points from Spurs.
However, some eagle-eyed fans have spotted something a little strange with their kit, and no, it wasn’t a lack of badge seen at the weekend on Alderweireld’s kit.
Tottenham’s usual white top, faded into blue shorts was replaced this evening with a new combo.
Tradition dictates that Spurs wear white shorts in Europe, something that Nike may have overlooked when designing the kit.
As the white shirt fades into a blue, the idea is that it joins the blue of the usual shorts, however, the kit change meant this didn’t quite happen.
Instead Tottenham were left with a slightly peculiar looking blue stripe around the waist of their otherwise all white kit.
What are your thoughts? Should they keep the blue shorts for the Champions League?
