‘They are 100 per cent in the title race’ – Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp on Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur have found themselves well in with a shout of the Premier League title this season, after gaining ground on their title rivals.

While Spurs have been picking up results over the past couple of weeks, winning three Prem matches back to back, their rivals have been stalling.

Liverpool drew their last two games against Leicester and West Ham, dropping four points in the process.

Man City also dropped three points as they lost to Newcastle last week, leaving Spurs just five points adrift of the top of the League.

Tottenham also still have to play both Liverpool and City, giving them chances to take more points off the title favourites.

Jurgen Klopp has insisted that Spurs are 100 percent in the title race now, as well as expressing his admiration for picking up wins in the face of vast injury problems.

Kane and Alli have been out injured for a number of weeks now.

Klopp said (Football London): “Tottenham have come from behind and had a very difficult situation until recently when they have done brilliantly winning games late with lots of injury problems.

“They are 100 per cent in the race.”
