‘They’ll demolish’ – O’Hara makes confident Spurs vs West Ham score prediction

Jamie O’Hara has predicted that despite Tottenham’s poor form of late, the Lilywhites will brush West Ham United aside at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs have not only been struggling to create chances going forward, as we saw at the San Siro on Tuesday, but they have also been extremely leaky at the back over recent months, with their 4-1 thrashing at the hands of Leicester City arguably being the low-point of the season so far.

Harry Kane insisted a few days ago that the players lacked ‘fight, passion and desire’ at the King Power Stadium last Sunday and described the performance as ‘unacceptable’ (Football.London).

Spurs will be hoping to deliver a much better showing against West Ham as they return to home comforts and O’Hara has backed Kane to be among the goals again and put himself in the shop window.

The pundit stated that he has been far from impressed with David Moyes’ men this season and predicted that they will be on the wrong end of a 3-1 scoreline in North London.

O’Hara told Grosvenor Casinos: “Tottenham need a huge result here; the Premier League is drifting away from them at the moment, and their performances have not been great.

“They have got to beat West Ham, I watched them play against Chelsea, and they are bang average this season.

“Spurs have to go out there and turn them over if they want to kick on with their season and get something good from it. They can’t let these London teams keep turning up and thinking they can keep getting results there.

“It’s a big one for them and one that could spell drastic change at the club if it goes against them.

“I am going to go 3-1 to Tottenham, with Harry Kane to score once again and continue showing just why he should move on in the summer.

“I think they’ll demolish West Ham this time, though, I really do. They need it and playing at their best, they should manage it.”

Spurs Web Opinion

While we should be beating West Ham at home, I cannot say that I have any confidence that will do so, given the standard of some of our recent performances.

Our defensive issues have been well-documented but I also fear that we will struggle to create chances if the Hammers stop the service into Kane as Milan did on Tuesday.
