‘They’re playing a different way’ – Mourinho looks ahead to London derby against Fulham

Tottenham Hotspur face a tough London derby against Fulham this week as they look to get back on track in the Premier League.

Jose Mourinho’s men are currently without a win in the past four league games after defeats against Liverpool and Leicester, as well as draws against Crystal Palace and Wolves.

The Lilywhites currently find themselves in seventh in the Premier League table, despite leading the way just two weeks ago.

Chelsea and Aston Villa both overtook the North London side on goal difference last night, but Spurs will have a chance to climb the table with a win tomorrow night.

Fulham, on the other hand, are currently in the relegation zone, although that does little to represent their recent form in the Premier League.

Scott Parker’s men have already taken draws against both Liverpool and Southampton this month and Spurs will need to be on their toes if they are to come away with a victory.

Jose Mourinho had this to say on the match (Football London): “It’s always tough.

“Independent of results, it’s always tough and of course Fulham now, they’re playing in a different way, they forgot some of the principles they believed in.

“They have new principles of play, they are getting very positive results and it’s going, of course, to be difficult.”
