Some Spurs fans on social media have been left worried by Jose Mourinho’s this afternoon that Harry Kane and Sergio Reguilon are doubts for the North London Derby on Sunday.
Mourinho revealed that Kane and Reguilon, along with Carlos Vinicius, will all miss Thursday’s Europa League clash against LASK but he added that all three players have a chance of being fit for the clash against Arsenal.
Kane has been in terrific form this season, scoring and assisting for fun across all competitions in the Lilywhite shirt.
Given his stellar record in the North London Derby, the 27-year-old will be a major miss for Tottenham if he does not play on Sunday.
The fact that Carlos Vinicius, who was brought in as Kane’s backup, is also a doubt due to injury, does not bode well for Tottenham.
While some Spurs fans were understandably concerned with Mourinho’s update, others were confident that this was nothing more than mind games from the Tottenham boss.
