Tottenham Hotspur will surely be looking to invest in some new talent this summer after going two windows without acquiring a single player.
Spurs became the first Premier League club in history to go a full season without signing anyone this year, with it now being over 15 months since Lucas Moura was purchased.
However, the Daily Mail now report that Spurs have lodged a £10m bid for Leeds United 18-year-old winger Jack Clarke.
The teenager has been one of the shining lights in the tail end of the Championship this season, attracting the attention of multiple Premier League clubs, according to the report.
Mauricio Pochettino is a fan of putting faith in young players, and may look to replicate the development of Dele Alli, while Daniel Levy loves a bargain signing.
The Daily Mail state that Clarke can play on either wing and is 6 ft 2, but only made his first start back in January.
Some Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to react to the reported bid:
This is gunna be the peak of our window isn't it

If the signing is successful, we might be in for a treat ? Perhaps another Dele Alli situation here or an even better player we’ll see

It would be nice to have a winger who can put in a proper cross.
