Some Tottenham Hotspur have taken to Twitter this afternoon to react to breaking news this afternoon from the Sunday Times who claim that the North Londoners have had a bid in excess of £60million accepted for Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martínez.
The 23-year-old has also been on the radar of rivals Arsenal, who are the visitors to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for this afternoon’s pre-season friendly.
The Argentinian is wanted by Spurs to become Harry Kane’s strike partner in a new-look pairing for the season ahead.
Martínez was particularly effective in a pairing last season alongside Romelu Lukaku at Inter Milan.
Here is how some of the North London faithful reacted to the news that yet another Argentine could be on his way to the club.
Will Inter have any players left?

He'd be a great signing, but struggling to believe Inter would sell both strikers, he would want to come to Spurs or we could afford him without selling Kane

Tottenham have been heavily reliant on Kane’s goals for too many seasons previously, with Heung-min Son having to shoulder the responsibility on occasions.
The departure of Carlos Vinicius has once again exposed the club to a shortage of strikers, and while the Brazilian was deemed as a back-up, there is no doubt that Martínez would be a regular in the side.
