Some Spurs fans are pleased to potentially see the back of Danny Rose following reports suggesting that the defender is about to join Newcastle United on loan.
The Newcastle Chronicle report that full back has made the journey north in preparation of discussing personal terms and completing the necessary medical tests.
The left-back reportedly had a falling out with Jose Mourinho over not being selected in the matchday squad for the game against Watford two weeks ago (Daily Mail).
He has been heavily linked with a move away from the club over the past few days (Sky Sports) and now that he appears on the verge of joining Newcastle, some Spurs fans are happy to see him shipped off the Magpies.
There were a few fans who still stuck up for the England international but the majority accepted that he had to leave.
JUST TAKE HIM PLEASEEEE. WE WILL PAY YOU TO TAKE HIM

Even without a ST, this is now a great window.

Danny Rose must have spent some time googling Newcastle players, been a good player for us but seemed a bad seed in the dressing room always stirred the pot about the club to the media when he was away on England duty mainly

Goodbye Rose you ?

I’ll always have a soft spot for Danny Rose. At his best he was my favourite Spurs player. But for his own sanity he needs to move on, and it’s not good for the squad to have someone around who’s clearly not happy and leaks stuff to the press.

Still love Danny Rose

Let’s face it, Danny Rose has always been right. Shown a poor attitude this season but it’s been downhill since he made his first statement when we sold Walker and 3 years on we’re still googling our signings and showing zero ambition on the pitch.

I'm really hoping Danny Rose is speaking to a ghost writer and plans to release a book about his time at Spurs. If anyone plans to go full Snowden about the goings on behind closed doors at Spurs it will be him. Good player who gave many great memories.

Spurs Web Opinion
The obvious worry with keeping him around was potentially risking him being a negative influence in the dressing room. So Mourinho probably made the right call to send him out on loan. Hopefully, his value should go up with a few appearances for Newcastle and we will be able to command a bigger transfer fee in the summer.
