Thomas Frank has offered an update on his Tottenham squad ahead of the Brentford match, with a clearer picture now emerging on who is edging back towards involvement this month.

Spurs are winless in their last five league outings and are in danger of slipping further down the table, as five points separate them from seventeenth-placed Leeds United.
A home game against Brentford at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is up next for Frank, who will be desperate to get one over his former side and push Spurs back into the top half of the league table, while also ending a run of no league wins since October.

Coming into this encounter, the Tottenham boss has been handed a positive update regarding the fitness of two of his injured players.
It was reported earlier this week that both Radu Dragusin and Kota Takai took positive steps in their recovery as the pair featured in a behind-closed-doors friendly for Spurs Under-21s against Dagenham and Redbridge at Hotspur Way.
However, while the pair edge closer to full fitness, a few other players remain sidelined, with Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke still out, but there is an expectation that they could return before the year ends.
Meanwhile, James Maddison is out for the rest of the season, while Yves Bissouma does not yet have a return date pencilled in for him.
Speaking ahead of the league fixture with Brentford, Thomas Frank has now provided an injury update on his Tottenham squad. He told the official Spurs media team: “Everyone that was available for Newcastle should be ready for Brentford.”
On whether there was a fresh update on Dominic Solanke and Kulusevski, he added: “No. When they are ready to be close to joining the squad, then I will provide an update.”
